We had no issues with our 3 night stay here. My husband has stayed here before this trip in the motel-like building and had no issues either. Room was perfectly clean. Slight smell of dog but doesn’t bother us. Front desk staff good too. Great location, so close to downtown without being in it. Breakfast was always well stocked
Room smelled of urine. Breakfast was just ok. Wanted to charge an extra $25 per night for a room overlooking the harbor/boat dock. It was wintertime, NOTHING was happening in the harbor!
Not a bad hotel for the price. Has free breakfast and some rooms have marina views. It's clean, and beds are cozy. A little dated, but it seems like they're doing updates. I'd stay here again especially for the price, and closeness to Downtown Charleston
Will never stay at this or any Wyndam hotel again. Filthy with dust and roaches in one room. The other room the A/C-Heat didn't work properly.....buttons either worn or just a cheap product.......no "slip strips" on floor of bathtub so they put a sheet of adhesive back plain plastic in an attempt to cover it up when I complained, 12.00 for parking in a parking space in front of hotel (no parking deck) just a parking lot. 75.00 deposit per room which still hasn't been refunded after charging me for both rooms. I've never stayed in a hotel this bad. As soon as I entered the room, a strong, foul odor hit me straight in the nose. The blankets and pillows smelled the same, and I couldn't sleep because of the unpleasant smell; I ended up sleeping without touching my face to the pillow. The bathroom seemed filthy. A terrible experience.
