I rarely ever leave a review that isn’t good. But i can’t do this here. We walked in our room and the surface directly in front of me, clearly had not been wiped down. The chair in the room was absolutely filthy. The bathroom floor had not been cleaned. When housekeeping enters a room, there should be a checklist so they hit each touch point. Seeing these things, immediately turned me off. I wouldn’t come back here knowing these things.
If you are staying at Carlsbad, La Quinta is a budget friendly option, offering comfortable beds, and a very nice beach entry swimming pool. Great for the grandchildren!
Best of the best GM welcoming with a smile ,staff great! clean room,comfortable,swimming pool & of course breakfast great. Definitely will recommend
Overall a good value but we were really impressed by Rob that manages the breakfast buffet. Rob takes every step and measure to ensure the entire breakfast area is clean and well stocked. Next time we'd book here again 100%, mainly because of Rob and the breakfast buffet.
