We were in Beaumont, TX (from Eugene, OR) to bring my daughter to Lamar University. Good location. Great included breakfast. Nice pool. I'll stay there again.
Staff is amazing
On arrival I was told the elevator was not working. No attempt was made to notify me prior to arrival. I have a lot of difficulty climbing stairs. In the past, other hotels have notified me of this issue to give me options. This LQ told me they don’t do this. I was not given any other options. No assistance with my bags was offered. I had to pull myself and bags up 29 steps. Upon interest to my room, there was a cigarette smell. It faded after turning up the air. The room was clean and the mattress was comfortable.
