We were on our way south to Carlsbad Caverns NP, and after having shopped there for rooms, the Carlsbad locations were either booked or old looking sites that were “pet friendly”. La Quinta in Artesia had decent prices, excellent breakfast included and appears to be very new. We ended up renting two rooms and it was a nice quiet place to spend the night. Artesia is only about an hour from Carlsbad, and we’re very happy we stayed there.
I have stayed here twice, good customer service, clean rooms, bed was very comfortable, hot breakfast provided! Can't go wrong with waffles and sausage!
