Hotel is good. A little higher than others in the area. We chose it because of the location and proximity to where we were going during our stay. Well worth it. Very clean, great staff. Management does a great job in this hotel!
We stayed at the La Quinta in Angleton, Texas this weekend for a wedding, and we had such a great experience. Our group had around 15 rooms, and the hotel was easy to find for all of our out-of-town guests. One of the first things we noticed was how clean everything was. The owner was actually present and helping sweep and clean outside, which says a lot. Clean room. Easy access from 288. Close to the job I came to do.
This is a nice hotel and it's conveniently located not too far from MSR Houston. It's right beside a very modest-size Buc-ee's that was built before the mega-Buc-ee's really got going. (Buc-ee's first store, and current headquarters, are in nearby Lake Jackson.) Our room was thoroughly decorated, but the interior designer forgot to equip the bathroom with a towel rack or at least a couple of hooks!
