No parking on Saturday night. Then they locked me out Sunday, when I payed through Monday. I had to limp all the way to the office, my cane & car keys locked in the room. Coffeemaker & mini fridge broken. The room was cold, with the heat on max. I won't be staying there again. I come to Sac once a month. It seemed like a good deal, but for 100 bucks a night for 3 nights, I'll find a place with working heat ,a cold fridge, and an in room coffeemaker I can use.
I was a little nervous coming to this property initially, after reading some of the online reviews. The HoJo Sacramento “Downtown” has taken a bit of a hit in the last month. I think what people need to have is a little perspective. If they want a five star hotel, that is what they should book. If you’re booking the Howard Johnson “downtown” Sacramento, you’re obviously looking for value and a deal.
