I am member of the armed forces. I was seeking a room to spend the night to head to my assignment by morning when I was awaken by small child mentioning bugs hitting him. The room was full of bed bugs. I grabbed a few and showed them to the receptionist who told me I could cancel my room but when I mentioned refund. This was the worst hotel that I ever stayed in. My room was filthy and my friend’s room had small roaches. When we approached the front desk for a refund they indicated that they would be unable to provide them until Monday when the manager was back (our stay was Friday afternoon to Sunday morning). They also acknowledged that several people have asked for a refund. It was a terrible experience.

Avoid. The door was barely locked and drafty, the chair had a missing wheel, the iron was broken, and the towels were stained. This is definitely not an experience I would want to repeat. While I understand that remodeling was taking place, it does not excuse the rooms being in such poor condition. Cherry on top, it is right next to a train shop so there are train noises day and night.
