The Hotel is not good. Needs a lot of maintenence. Starting from the Parking Lot, I saw condoms, drugs buts, etc. At the reception unfortunately the night people do not dress properly for a Hotel Team. During the Day, the blond old lady was very polite and gave great assistance. The room given to us was horrible. Carpet extremely old, all parts of furniture broken, poor internet, etc. However sheets and towels clean and shower hot. The smell of the Hotel will be hard to forget. I was racially profiled upon Enterance, granted a was wearing a KOBE BRYANT jersey in remembrance and to further express my sadness of his and GiGi’s passing. I booked online in SD through the crappy “Wyndham rewards” app (which is a scam, you can always find the same hotels for less through booking.com and Priceline.com) I’m a white female of Norwegian/German dissent. I tried to check in at 10:30 pm and I had booked hotel under Wyndham's family and friends. The supervisor (Kerly) was extremely rude, and she refused to give us a key. Very unprofessional. She literally let my family wait for an hour and half just because she does not have enough knowledge of policy. I have never ever got such bad response from hotel industry. Never going back. Not recommended.
So we came to Laquinta for a three night stay…I thought the place was just fine considering every other hotel we checked into was like 400 dollars a night! Our room was clean & spacious, the staff friendly and helpful, especially Dwayne on nights! I read a lot of bad reviews & im glad I didn’t listen to them.
