My friend, El Nino and I had the pulled pork special with rice and beans. The pork was perfectly cooked, not over, not under and spiced so that the flavor of the meat was enhanced. The Senora and el jefe were very friendly and their food and conversation made for a very enjoyable lunch. Don't be fooled by the sign on the door. They are open for indoor dining, though their floor is in process of getting replaced due to water damage. Excellent food.
We love La Promesa! Everything we’ve tried so far has been delicious…empanadas, chicken tamales, fried baby corn, and papusas. The food is made to order and worth the short wait. Prices are very reasonable, and the owners are so welcoming and friendly.
Food was delicious with perfectly cooked rice, delicious empanadas, and the best pork chop I've ever tasted.
