The location is great, easy walk to downtown, shopping and restaurants. The front desk staff and valet were friendly and helpful. THEN, we walked in the room. What a disappointment. This is nowhere near the quality you expect from Marriott Bonvoy. Carpets in entry way, up the stairs and the landing were filthy. Not the level of service we expected...starting with check in. Room was smoky smelling (it had a fireplace). Carpet woefully stained. Pool had bar...that was never open. Location is good, easy walk to plaza. We had a room that was in a private corner. I would not stay here again.
