This was the worst restaurant we ate at in NOLA. We went today for lunch. Ordered the blue crab beignets as an appetizer but it never arrived. When the food arrived, I mentioned we never received it and the waiter said he would check on it. I politely told him we no longer wanted to pay for an appetizer since our food had already arrived (still thinking maybe he would bring them out and not charge for them....but that didn’t happen). Great atmosphere- I like the intimacy of it and the old style feel of the building. Food was simple but out of sight and our server, Lizzie, was excellent. Perfect combination of being personable but not needy, and we never lacked for anything.
Our first, but not last, visit to this delicious & friendly upscale restaurant on Magazine St. We so enjoyed meeting out waitress Marielle! Tres sympathique!���
Wonderful dining experience. The blue crab beignets appetizer is divine and a must-have, in my book. The turtle bolognese was a delicious thrill. We thoroughly enjoyed the lunch and savored the whole experience from start to finish with the honey-pear galette wrapping up our visit. Thank you.
