Must shop for bras!! – I have lived in the neighborhood for 2 years now and just went into this shop today, mainly because I see the store as a lingerie store. I didn't want lingerie, but I was in the market for a new bra, or several. After spending an hour at another lingerie shop in Soho searching for the perfect strapless bar for under my wedding dress, and feeling generally uncomfortable in each and every one that I tried on, I headed to La Petite Coquette for the first time just on the off-chance that they would have a more comfortable make. excellent service – there are a number of lingerie stores in Manhattan but few that offer the selection and service that La Petite Coquette does. i have been shopping there for years and have always enjoyed the personal attention i am given there. i actually walked in there once with a new girlfriend and the owner said hello and welcome back. my girlfriend was both startled and intrigued that they knew me there.
Best Stop I Made! – Amazing experience. First of all, the lingerie is to die for. So cute! I have had the worst luck finding bras that fit. Needless to say Barbara was amazing. She showed me how I looked in my current bra vs. what I should look like when wearing the right size and shape bra. I look thinner and taller and people have noticed. Ladies, if you have not been in to see this wonderland you must go. It will be the best stop you ever make!
Doesn't have to expensive! – After reading so many great reviews of this place, I tried it out for myself last week and was extremely impressed. All the good things people say about it are true. It's great for small folks too - a beautiful atmosphere even for tomboys! – I'm not big on the lingerie thing but all girls want quality girly undergarmets. I'm very thin with an A cup and wide hips. Great, Caring Service – I visited this afternoon after reading several of the reviews on citysearch. For the past, probably 8 years at least, I've been wearing a 34D. I happened upon a cheap Wacoal bra at TJMaxx that was 32DD, and tried it on, to feel much more comfortable and secure.
