UNBELIEVABLE NIGHTMARE! – FIRST THEY CHARGED MY CREDIT CARD THE FULL AMOUNT FOR MY ORDER. SHOULD HAVE BEEN 50 % I SPECIFICALLY REQUESTED THEY ONLY TAKE A 50% DEPOSIT. WE ARE TALKING 2,000 DOLLARS HERE. THEN WHEN I FOUND OUT THEY HAD CHARGED MY ACCOUNT THE FULL AMOUNT, IT TOOK THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON TO GET THAT STRAIGHTENED OUT. THEN A COUPLE WEEKS LATER HAVE NOW BEEN WAITING AT LEAST 5 WEEKS, I HAD TO CALL THEM TO FIND OUT IF MY ORDER WAS IN OR NOT, ONLY TO FIND OUT THE ORDER HAD NEVER BEEN PLACED. Nightmare Installation – Installer came out with wrong part. Charged me another $65. Returned and did terrible job. Said he would come back Monday. Waited all day. No one at store would return my many calls. What a mistake to pay full amount in advance. Beware. Fireplace still not fixed and may not be safe.

Excellent Service & Selection! – We've made two majors purchases at La Paz over the last year and each experience was consistently great. They've got a good sense of what customers want/need without overselling. The patio furniture is top notch. posted by Debashis C

Store may not be open during posted business hours! – I saw this store mentioned positively in an article. I called and checked their business hours on Sunday, showed up a 5 after 11 AM on Sunday (11 AM was opening time per phone recording and posted on storefront), and the store was closed. I then drove up to Anaheim Patio and Fireside in Irvine and purchased a gas log set with installation. Anaheim appeared to have more selection (and the store was open during posted business hours).

Nice Selection We bought our patio furniture here, after looking everwhere else! The salesperson (might have been owner too??) was really nice and helpful. We ended up buying a beautiful set that has held up over the years and looks almost as nice as the day we bought it. They have a great selection of patio furniture and a big price range.
