Nice, comfortable stay – The room I stayed in had a nice home-like feel and had a rustic charm all its own. The bed was very comfortable and clean and made for a pleasant stay. The mineral baths were soothing and relaxing so I definitely recommend taking a dip. The baths are a perfect way to melt your stress away.
Avoid – La Paloma is located in T or C (Truth or Consequences) New Mexico. What was once a charming hot springs motel and spa 80 years ago is now merely a shell of what it once was. The Bathhouse lobby ceiling is in sub standard condition and would be condemned if properly inspected. Although a few new appliances have been added and some fresh paint here and there the structures are in a sad shape.
