Until June 2026, I enjoyed coming to Lamorinda Nails. The staff is friendly and the shop has a neighborhood feel. I even brought my daughter here for her prom nails, which makes this especially disappointing. At my last visit, I had an appointment and was already mid-service, with hands and feet soaked, when a walk-in customer arrived and wanted to sit next to her friend. I had an appointment for a mani & pedi but they were so busy that the person doing mani was also answering the phone, cashing out customers, and working on someone else at the same time. That would have gotten them a 4-star rating if that was the only issue. However, they used a top coat that turned yellow (unevenly I might add) that changed the color of my gel mani. I've never had anything like that happen before. My mani looked great for all of 1 day before it changed color. Very disappointing.

They always do an amazing job. Consistent results every time and I have been coming here for almost 13 years.
