Large Portions Good Italian food. They serve large portions and have tasty daily specials. They offer a nice wine selection and full service bar. Bar can be a bit dark, others might say romantic.
Owner is LOUD and RUDE! I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone. The waitress was very nice but they were out of many of the entrees. Then I heard a gentleman yelling in the back, I was told it was the owner. VERY RUDE man. Not a very peaceful atmosphere. The food was not that great either. Save yourself from this experience dine at the Cattleman's.
Excellent Food! During my two recent trips to Pierre, I was fortunate to eat 3 times at La Minestra and each meal was excellent, as was the service. The 1/2 size option of a Greek salad was perfect and it was extremely tasty, The homemade pasta has me craving more here in NC! The staff were very friendly and accommodating with a special request I made. The food was very reasonably priced. If I am so fortunate to be able to travel back to Pierre, I will definitely be back for more. Thank you!
Made my Family Sick Although the atmosphere was pleasant the illness afterward was very unpleasant. My family ate at LaMinestra only to all be very ill the next day. All at the same time. This was the only place we ate at that day so we know it was from the restaurant. Do yourself a favor and avoid this fine dining experience. PROS: CONS: Sickening
Today the owner resorted to calling patrons extremely inappropriate names. Then resorted to hanging up on patrons calling to give feedback.
