2 days of illness – Ugh. 2 days down with food "illness" after a meal at La Merenda. Went there with my girlfriend- we ate the same things. We were both healthy before, and both have the same symptoms for food p___ning. Will never go back. Beware. cityserach censors the "p" word. You know what I mean
Favorite Restaurant – The best tasting food in Milwaukee...hands down! Great relaxed atmosphere and interesting menu. Every item we tasted was absolutley delicious. The banana chocolate egg rolls were heavenly!
Finally! Tapas!! – Just ate at La Merenda with some girlfriends last night - it's a great spot for a 'girls night'. We were a little disappointed to find out that the 2 things we wanted to try most were 'unavailable' - the lobster ceviche, and the spare ribs, BUT the waitress told us about the shrimp and pineapple ceviche special that was an excellent replacement.
