I came to Little Italy this past week. We ate at La Mela on a recommendation from a friend who lives in CT. From the moment we walked in I knew I would be in for a treat. Everyone was so friendly and warm. We ordered the family style meal choice one. I loved how the food wasn't the same old "Italian" food that's served in other restaurants. The tomatoes tasted home grown and the fried mozzarella was to die for. My favorite was the rigatoni, it tasted just like my moms. Fabulous meal and service!
