Recommendedi live in South Florida and am in NYC a few times a year. I will NEVER miss the opportunity to stop by for a meal at La Mela! My go to meal is Angel hair carbonara. My friends get baked ziti and chicken parm. so let me say ... there is NO BETTER FOOD ANYWHERE! The carbonara is like a creamy dream of yumminess! RecommendedWow great food, got the recommendation as we entered pasticceria , which was also a recommended from local people. The food was so good at La Mela and atmosphere was top notch. If ever in New York again it is a must. Kind of like family you must visit when your in town.
