Salsa is great, food was fair. Service was a little weak. I'll give them one more try later.
Been going to el toro for years and was completely disappointed. Service was horrible, order came out after people who arrived fifteen minutes after us, then the order was wrong. Bathroom was disgusting with feces on back of toilet. Save your money and cook Mexican at home, it will be much better!
I got a steak fajita borrito take out. The steak was like rubber and no flavor. It was a bit greasy. The tortilla was extremely mushy . There was no real flavor. The salsa was nothing but heat and no flavor. I did not even finish it . I am highly dissapointed . I will never go there again. I would have taken it back if it wasn't such a drive from home.
Try "Carnitas Michoacan", they're really good!
Their chicken Chimichanga is the best I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant. Their portions are generous and the Margaritas are perfect. Their home made chips come out warm with the salsa while you wait. And the Machaca, I've never had this dish before this restaurant; it is a GREAT alternative to an every day meal. Everything they prepare is consistently great every time.
I was just all together disappointed. First, we didn't get our cheese dip until AFTER we got our lunch. Second, asked for no salt on the margarita and it came with A LOT of salt. Third and final the children's plate was EXTREAMLY hot. To top everything off the food just wasn't tasty. Needless to say I will not be coming back.
