My grand daughter is studying French so we went to La Madison Navarre for crepes! The food is wonderful ! We’ve been lots of times before for macaron, my fav . And other sweet treats

Excellent food, ambience, and service! Paris in Portsmouth - my dream come true!
We had the French baguette, cold sandwiches, chocolate croissant, madeleines and macaroons. All are so delicious. As good as those in Montreal and Quebec City. However, the coffee needs some improvements. The aroma and flavor is just not there. But we will definitely go back again.

Food is fresh and delicious and the croissants are better than any I had in France this past May. Only downside was coffee very weak but perhaps they cater to New Englanders taste, 1/3 coffee 1/3 sugar and 1/3 milk. That's not coffee to me but hey, who am I? I love real dark roast unflavored coffee that jump starts my heart.
I highly recommend this gem. We always stop by when visiting family in Rye.
