My husband and I were in Maine for a wedding and had eaten our weight in seafood so we were looking for a sweet treat. French pastries and bake goods are my absolute favorite so we tried La Maison Navarre. The service was excellent, professional and friendly. The make your own croissant was out of this world. By far THE BEST CROISSANT I’ve ever had, toasted of course, and I’ve had the delight of visiting France. The layers of flakiness went on for days and the toasted taste was perfect. Perfect place to enjoy fine gourmet from France! An amazing selection of AOP cheeses ; Brie de Meaux, Cantal, Roquefort... with a fresh and crusty baguette and charcuterie!
Bonjour!!! 1st time trying La Maison and it was incredible! My sister and I split a charcuterie board, escargot and white wine. Our waitress was Kate, she is amazing and very knowledgeable! She helped us pick the perfect cheeses and explained to us what would pair well on our board. Definitely ask for her if you go in! We finished our meal with crepes and macarons! The lemon macarons are the best! Would highly recommend this place, my only complaint is that I think the chairs were a bit uncomfortable. Cant wait to go back!

This is my favorite stop in Portsmouth! Just stopped in after a morning run for a Cappuccino and a quick French breakfast (croissant, egg, brie, real butter, fig preserves) - heavenly!! The staff always welcomes me with a smile & the food is delicious. I head over whenever I need time to stop for a little while, and I crave a Paris mindset.
