lovely French cafe I've used La Madeleine Country French Cafe for their delicious soups and quiche for my ladies club. Their food is always fresh, always made with the freshest ingrediants and provides a menu that nobody else has.
This place needs some improvement! I hate to break the flow but what a disappointment for the La Madeleine name and reputation. I had the misfortune of choosing the restaurant on Lemmon Ave. for an afternoon snack. The French Onion soup is usually my favorite but on this day "yuck!. First of all the soup was served in what appeared to be a shallow cereal bowl and a small one at that for the price $......! Great Atmosphere La Madeleine has a great selection of casal French dining in a cozy restaurant. The sandwiches are fresh and they are famous for the ceasar salad. A little pricey for soup and salad.
Tres bonne goodies at le Madeleine's I've eaten at le Madeleines through the years and never been disappointed. Everything they serve is just delicious, and while many of their specialties are quite rich and calorie laden they do offer healthier menu items too. Their baked goods are out of this world, and we've used them for special meetings we've held in our offices from time to time. Folks are always just delighted to see le Madeleines goodies on the agenda!
Great pastries and french entrees I was really impressed with La Madelein's quality of their pastries in their Bakery. I have been there a few times now and they offer a wide range of pastries and desserts. They also have complementry bread and butter with the best jellies I have ever had. The Bakery is very clean and the employees are very nice. I have never had a bad time at La Madelein's
Tomato soup This place is so yummy! If you like tomato basil soup or potato soup - they are the best! They also have an extended menu now with some great choices. Its a quaint lil spot, too!
