French Bakery??? You call yourself a french bakery but I've never been in a french bakery that didn't have macaroons. I'd tell you to go back to france but I'm not sure you've ever been there! If you ever get macaroons email me (nicols123@earthlink.net). p.s. French macaroon don't have coconut!!!
Oui Oui Very delicious food. I had the tomato pasta and my husband had the cordon blue (I liked his better!!) Our kids had the pizza-yummy!! I loved the atmosphere and even though the staff mostly spoke french or had heavy accents-they were very helpful and friendly-yummy cookies too!!
French dining at its best Excellent cuisine!! Never really liked tomato soup until I tried their tomato basil-- to die for soup. Please don't forget the unforgettable creme brulee
lovely French cafe I've used La Madeleine Country French Cafe for their delicious soups and quiche for my ladies club. Their food is always fresh, always made with the freshest ingrediants and provides a menu that nobody else has.
This place needs some improvement! I hate to break the flow but what a disappointment for the La Madeleine name and reputation. I had the misfortune of choosing the restaurant on Lemmon Ave. for an afternoon snack. The French Onion soup is usually my favorite but on this day "yuck!. First of all the soup was served in what appeared to be a shallow cereal bowl and a small one at that for the price $......! Finally... French comes to Rockwall.. Rockwall now has its on french bistro as of 2007. I adore La Madeleine and it is nice to have one out here in suburbia. I believe that the first Dallas location on Preston Rd is still the most popular of this growing local french bistro local chain. I have been a regular for years. I can't begin to tell you how good the faire is here...and the desserts...and the croissants... Gosh... I am getting hungry writing this review... You just have to check it out yourself...
