Low couches, kitschy wall hangings and a DJ every night – In Short This bar is of the small, dark, East Village lounge variety, with plenty of couches and a super-loud sound system, which features everything from R&B to House. The luxuriously pillowed back room makes La Linea a great place to join a friend or someone special for a beer-enabled tete-a-tete. And if you like draft Bass, this is the place to be--it's the only beer on tap.

Asi Asi – Nice place. The drinks were a bit expensive, but that's Lower Manhattan for you. The music coulda been better, and there were defintely some weirdos dancing in the back. The place does have a lot of potential...more hip-hop needed.

Dark – The place seemed like it had some potential, though it was empty the night I was there. Seems like a great place to bring a group of friends if you're in the area.

never fails to please – despite the fact that this highly unpretentious, affordable spot gets packed so quickly due to its size, i can ALWAYS count on having a good time here. the music is great, there's a good-sized "dance floor" and ample seating. bar tenders are pretty pleasant, and i never get that holier-than-thou attitude from any of the customers that frequent the place
