I saw their recent show at UCSD on Saturday. They nailed Stravinsky. The violins sounded very crisp, timpani dude kept it in the pocket and oh boy the oboe was smooth as butter! Brass section was a bit rusty though. Sameer Patel did a great job with the ensemble and I would come back for more concerts!
I have experienced the most sublime music: a lot of emotions and memories elicit with the music interpreted by this body of very talented musicians. Everyone, from patrons to ushers always smiling, welcoming and very courteous. Seats are very comfortable and the adjacent patio and cafe offer a perfect space to stretch legs and socialize during the intermission. Highly recommend.
