I had such a wonderful experience delivering my baby here. From the moment I arrived, I felt cared for, supported, and safe. I had an induction, and throughout the entire process the team was incredibly patient, compassionate, and respectful. This ER has incredible staff. I came here on an extremely busy night for a kidney infection. I am so blessed that Sophia was my nurse. She listened to me, and offered assistance with everything she could. she was extremely attentive and I never felt forgotten about. The doctor was incredible as well, along with the CT crew. Everyone was just so polite and so helpful, and really take the time to make you as comfortable as possible in a painful situation. I hope they all get the recognition they deserve.
Absolutely terrible phone support experience. I was simply trying to get a self-pay bill estimate for a procedure, and I was transferred around nine times. For some reason, I kept ending up in the Dermatology department, even though my request had absolutely nothing to do with dermatology. What made it even more ridiculous is that I was calling numbers that Scripps employees themselves gave me, and I was also being transferred internally by their own staff — yet I somehow kept getting sent back to Dermatology over and over ... read more

This is the worst hospital we have ever been to. I guess we have been spoiled by living next to great hospitals like Sequoia Hospital in Redwood City, Stanford and OHSU. This stay was a total disaster. It wasn’t just a bad doctor it was person after person and department after department that dropped the ball. First he was brought in by ambulance on Sunday night because he threw out his back and couldn’t move. After 6 hours in the ER they had to admit him because his pain couldn’t be controlled.
