The mojara frita i had was undercooked. I asked them to recook which they did. Server was not very attentive, we had to wait a little longer for service. I think when there is an automatic tip for a small group(5 people) it should be disclosed.
It was a cool find and first time here! Super cute with a store attached if they happen to be out of tamarind straws like they were today! Or so at least the waitress said. She was young
10/2/25: They put botana back on the menu! Yay! I keep going back here because I appreciate how they have built their success over the years, with good food and a great atmosphere that has always felt familial and intentional. The misses make the hits sorta hit less, but seeing botana on the menu was a real hit. Update 11/8/25: They no longer have the botana, smh.
