About this business

This restaurant name means 'little Indian girl' in Spanish and it is affectionately named after chef Maria Garcia, a Tarascas native American from the Mexican state of Michoacan. Most of the items on the menu are familiar ones to most American diners. Worst in Southern Arizona – If you like gristle in your beef, cold rice, water-thin salsa, poor service and dirty floors, this place is for you. You can do better anywhere.

The best place to take a tourist. – La Indita is the best Mexican Restaurant in town. Instead of guests to the typical run of the mill Mexican restaurants that run amock in Tucson, I like to take them here. The menu is vast and has many options that include local recipies and foods. Great place for meat eaters and vegetarians. Everybody's happy!!!!

The only remotely negative aspect of this charming restaurant is the fact that the room facing Fourth Avenue can get hot in the summer. Instead, opt for the relaxing patio at the back. The Food Mushroom enchiladas could come out awkward elsewhere but seems ent... read more
