Good friends, master classical chef, fantastic food, great wine, professional service, hard to find in the USA, but, La Grotta has them all!
It doesn't get any better than this for me. Love the food, atmosphere and friendly staff. We had calamari, beef carpaccio, octopus carpaccio, linguini w/clams in white sauce and ravioli stuffed with chicken in cream sauce. It was a lot of food but we could not help but to eat it all. We loved every bite and reasonably priced to boot.
Best service and the food was pure bliss. Pricey but well worth it.
The fettuccini had good flavor but the pasta was really under cooked...far from al dente and sent it back...the gnocchi was completely overcooked and gummy. Food was not very hot....I have had way better Italian elsewhere...on a good note the turret was delicious
The best Italian food I have ever had. Creative, innovative and always delicious.
