WORST RECEPTIONIST I’VE EVER MET IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. FROM THE SECOND THE CALL WAS ANSWERED, THE ATTITUDE WAS DISGUSTING. RUDE, IMPATIENT, AND COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL — AS IF DOING THEIR JOB WAS A PERSONAL FAVOR. CONSTANT INTERRUPTING, ZERO LISTENING SKILLS, AND A TONE THAT SCREAMS “I DON’T CARE.” THIS PERSON SHOULD NOT BE ANSWERING PHONES, LET ALONE REPRESENTING A BUSINESS. Called to see when I could get an appointment for someone, they did not even ask what to issue or situation was for the potential patient. They wanted to know how I was paying and when I said self pay they said I had to come in person, fill out an application, bring my paystub, and wait for it to be sent to their claims department. I told them I will pay whatever the charge is I just need help and to get an appointment asap, they did not care that we needed help, they just said I have to come in to find out how much to pay. ... read more

My experience attempting to schedule and complete an intake appointment for counseling was highly unprofessional and frustrating. I scheduled an intake appointment and arrived 15 minutes early to ensure my paperwork was completed on time. After waiting until 9:31 AM (well past the scheduled time), a case manager finally informed me that no staff member was available to perform the intake and that I would need to reschedule. If you or a loved one are living with a Serious Mental Illness (SMI), I strongly advise you to look elsewhere for care. I am SMI-designated and have a complex diagnosis. I never expected my journey to be simple, but what I did hope for was a treatment team that would advocate for me. Unfortunately, that’s not what I experienced here.
