Here's hoping that the new restaurant at the Rim will up their ante with a return to the food they used to serve 30+ years ago. We stopped going to the Oak Hills location when the quality of the food proceeded to decline and the prices proceeded to incline until the price to quality imbalance no longer warranted patronage. There is an exceedingly large population of Mexican food restaurants here in town to waste either time or money on locales that are sub-par.
I think La Fonda Oak Hills has the best Mexican Food I've ever eaten!!!�
Remodeling never takes this long. I'm pretty sure this La Fonda is probably not going to reopen again. The one on Crownhill sucks badly and the one on Main is overpriced junk food. It's a shame.
Heard yesterday from a friend La Fonda is closing. John if you are looking, please let us know! Lots of fun parties given there and family times at the round table in the back!
