I recently ate at La Fama in Rock Island and was pleasantly surprised with every aspect of my visit! The Verde chicken enchiladas were absolutely outstanding. The refried beans were phenomenal and enjoyed a couple baskets of nice warm chips with a great salsa. I highly recommend trying this location if you’ve not had a chance yet!!!
We used La Flama to cater a graduation party for 125 people. Owner was easy to work with and answered any questions we had in a timely manner. We had the nacho bar with 3 meat options with vegetarian beans. So many guests commented on how good the food was! Delivery was on time and the set up looked fantastic. A quick phone call at the end of the party and they came and cleaned up all dishes and supplies. Could not have gone more smoothly. Highly recommend - great food at a very reasonable price!
Sign said open but as my group poured into a wait to be seated exed out and marked service at back counter. We were informed that it was carry out only. On a Friday night before 8pm.
Drove 20 minutes to pick up only to find out half my order is gone so had to make another 20 minute trip back and forth. And No point in making tacos at all. Five minutes later it all falls apart. Huge mess every time.
Brought my daughter for lunch, everything was so delicious! Fideo soup brought a tear to my eye, the broth was complex and divine. My daughter had 3 different tacos, devoured each one even though usually she stops at 2. The queso dip was very good on its own but once we dipped into that green salsa we were in heaven. Sinuses cleared!
