So I signed up 2 people for the *** pass to check out the gym located at *************************************** my referral was told she could not use the pass no one gave her a reason why luckily a stranger let her use her as a guest. When we asked they said they already had too many guest passes validated for the day and also with that pass she was unable to use it for the zumba class when it clearly states on pass valid for classes. LA Fitness is a scam. When I signed up, you are required to pay a processing fee and first and last months monthly fees. HOWEVER, if you decide to cancel your membership online, they will require you to MAIL a form so I decided to walk in to cancel. I've tried walking in multiple times to cancel and multiple times, workers would say the manager isn't there. The club is nice but they hid the yearly fee they charged me. Tried talking to the club and corporate and no resolve. **** at this gym hung up , I never felt this much disrespect
I bought into a 6 month training program that I wanted to cancel a few days later. Rather than being told about my statutory right to cancel, the manager, Nico, told me I had to pay for a cancellation fee. Because that wasn't in writing, I now have to pay said cancellation fee. I only got one training session where he showed me some basic exercises and that was it. No diet plan, no exercise plan, no tracking. This business is a scam. I have sent CERTIFIED MAIL letters in TWICE. I get the same robotic e-mail about how I have to send in a form to cancel my membership? It is halfway through 2021, IT IS TIME TO UPDATE YOUR PROCESS. Does BBB even allow a 0 star review? This company is stealing from me. They literally refuse to stop charging my bank account. They charged me four times for my gym membership. I am in the middle of resolving that issue and they now charged me $49.99 from their ************ location in *********** I live in Southern **. This is a shady business at best that is hoping their customers do not keep track of their bank expenses so they can steal from us.
LA Fitness HARASSES their customers when they cannot process an automated membership payment. They called and left messages for the other people on my membership and myself a MINIMUM of 3 times in ONE day. I even have a record of them calling 6 times in ONE DAY!! incredibly unprofessional. I was afraid to look at my phone in fear that it was yet ANOTHER LA fitness representative calling me. And the calls come from different states. We have been with LA fitness for 4 years.
