My wife and I joined LA Fitness (Dunedin, FL) last January. I signed up for personal trainer services (Jan-June). We enjoyed the quality of the Club and Trainer instruction up until LA Fitness closed due to the virus risk. Our LA Fitness reopened yesterday May 25. I started going to health clubs in the 1960's. I am retired Chicago lawyer who moved to Arizona in 2012. LA Fitness kept charging me monthly dues even though the clubs were closed. I tried calling and was left on hold forever. LA Fitness only respects an Attorney General complaint. When you join you will be constantly harassed to buy more programs or up-grade your membership. They need to have zero stars as an option here but in Summery- I got a free membership do to the fact that I'm on disability. Went for the first time and decided to sign up for a year of personal training sessions, so I would know what I can and can't do for my body. During the sign up process I told them that I have a lot of health problems and asked what happens if I was unable to continue training?
