I truly appreciate the facilities and programs this gym provides. However, I want to share a concern based on a consistent pattern I’ve experienced at the front desk. On a recent visit, I politely asked the receptionist if my children could use the basketball court. I received a very short and cold response, with no greeting, no eye contact, and no warmth at all. Absolutely unacceptable experience this morning. I arrived at this LA Fitness location at 7:50 AM, fully expecting the gym to open at 8:00 AM like it’s supposed to. I have work at 10, and I plan my mornings around being able to get my workout in before my shift. That means starting my workout right when the doors open is crucial for me. The way my son was treated when he came in under my account was disgraceful and distasteful. I will never join this gym ever again. I got 4 people to move with me to plant fitness which has been great to me. My kids have never been embarrassed in his life.
