I cant cancel the personal training sessions at LA fitness in ***********, and they cant seem to get it canceled. I signed up for 6 months of training and I was told that if i don't like it or don't want to do it anymore that wild be it. After 3 months i was trying to freeze the training due to extreme amount of workload, but instead of 3 mounts they only freeze it for one. The personal training program is a complete rip off, and they continue charging you even after the contract is up. After numerous calls and hundreds of wasted dollars, I finally got a cancel confirmation. How is it legal for them to just keep charging on an expired contract? Terrible company.
An LA Fitness training manager used my membership to sign someone up for personal training session just so he can fill his quota now every month I am getting for services I did not want or sign up for. He and his friend forged my signature to do this.
I signed up for a membership for me and my husband about ******************************** 2007 and cancelled my membership. I was still charged and they finally cancelled my membership in 2009. I just realized that my husband's membership was never cancelled. I have been paying for it for the last 11 years. My husband never actually went to LA Fitness even once EVER. I would just like to add my disgust at how LA Fitness does business. In January 2021, I joined the guy and was rushed through signing a training contract, which i never got a copy of after that meeting. I got one training session and decided I did not want to go back because the gym was super busy and no one wore masks, even though Covid was still rampant. LA Fitness will not cancel my membership even after I walked into the location and spoke with the manager, and the sales rep that sold me the membership. They make it extremely inconvenient to cancel a membership. They also charged me $49.99 for their yearly membership. Even after I have clearly communicated with them that I do not want to be a member anymore. This company is predatory and does not care about their clients. My partner and I cancelled memberships in November 2020. We took the paperwork into the location and confirmed with the staff member that was all they needed. Last month (July 2021) we got charged for a membership fee and an annual fee - upon further investigation we also got charged in December 2020. This is a very highly unprofessional gym that is ready to scam you all they want. They lie to you about everything. I think BBB should look into shutting them down
Please do not sign Up for personal trainer at LA Fitness! They rip off your money for what they do not provide you at all!
