Great gym with lots of equipment and amenities, aside from the typical equipment theres a pool, a sauna, a basketball court, and a room for Pilates. It can get busy in the evenings. The staff here are friendly and helpful. Had excellent sessions here with my master trainer, Sam S., can highly recommend.
Been a member several years now. The gym is very warm and humid in the summer. And this summer has been the worst to date, due to the hotter conditions outside. It makes for a very uncomfortable workout. I overheard a staff member comment that they do not control the temperature of the a/c but that it is controlled by head office. Only the aerobics room is well air conditioned for some reason. The majority of members do not wipe the equipment after use. Great Pilates class, felt like I had my own personal trainer today
I've generally enjoyed this LA Fitness location, which is why what happened this week was so disappointing. I went to the club around 6:00 PM to swim, only to find that 2 of the 3 pool lanes had been reserved for a children's swim program. The only remaining lane already had 4 or 5 people in it, making it impossible for anyone else to swim. I ended up turning around and going home without being able to use the pool.
