I signed up for a tour of the club to see if I wanted to join. I even called the club that day to confirm my appointment time, and the woman I spoke with ensured that they would have someone available for me when I came to take the tour. The manager didn’t give me a tour, and instead told me to walk around on my own and then come back to his desk when I was done. Not very courteous for a prospective member. Mediocre gym overall, but fine for basic workouts. However, now that school is out, teenagers & kids have taken over. The place is just total chaos. I don't feel comfortable there anymore.

I wanted to leave an honest review regarding the kids club/daycare experience at the Vista location of LA Fitness. One evening when I went to pick up my 2-year-old daughter, I saw a male employee walking out of the daycare area. He was not carrying custodial equipment or anything identifying him as maintenance staff, which immediately concerned me because when I originally signed up, I specifically asked whether anyone besides the childcare workers entered the daycare area and was told no. What I like most is the layout and amount of space, which makes it easier to train without feeling too cramped. There’s also a good mix of amenities like machines, free weights, and functional areas, so you can switch up your routine easily. The atmosphere is generally motivating, with people focused on their workouts, and the staff is usually helpful when needed. Overall, it’s a solid gym that makes it easy to stay consistent and reach fitness goals. Definitely a great option in the Vista area!
