Very disappointing and unprofessional experience. I had a membership at LA Fitness Aspen Hill, and the sales staff never clearly explained anything about needing to cancel several days in advance before the renewal date. When I tried to cancel my membership before it renewed, due to an emergency situation and because I had to leave the United States, they told me that according to the contract I was supposed to cancel 3–5 days earlier. I would like to give a shout out to Paul Lee and Maria... They are both fantastic trainers and I would highly recommend them. Stacy holds down the front desk with professionalism. Nick has been fantastic helping me navigate my personal training sessions. A nice clean gym machines are always working.
This was easily one of the worst experiences we have ever had with any company. We joined LA Fitness in August 2025 through the manager at the time, Max, and almost immediately began having problems. Our trainer, Alex, repeatedly failed to show up for scheduled sessions, and after weeks of chasing management for answers, we were finally told he had been terminated.
