RUDE! – I just became a member here yet at a different location thank god! and called to check on a class. I looked online on their class schedule and thought the instructor said he taught on Thursdays. I call to confirm and a man answers the phone rudely then when I tell him what i was looking for he goes " did you look online." i said yes i was just confirming and he rudely told me no the class wasnt that day as I saw on the schedule. if i didnt like the instructor i would never go back. once they get your money they dont ... read more
Too busy, dirty and run down – This people need to get their act together and clean this place up. It is very dirty in there specially the bathrooms and locker rooms. The place is too crowded from 5 to 7pm. You have to wait a long time for your turn to get a equipment. No wonder this place is cheap..
love la fitness – Sorry about the lost wedding rings. That was unfortunate but not L.A. Fitness's fault. I leave mine at home. LA Fitness has everything I want and need. It's not a ritzy club that is why it is cheap. The people there are very nice. Nicer than others claiming they're morons!! Life goes both ways. The way I see is, many people are unhappy in their lives and don't take responsibility for it. They walk around and blame everyone else. Great Convenience – LA Fitness is a great location to workout at. The people are very polite and help in any way that they can. There are many machines to choose from so it doesnt cause you to have to wait for a particular machine to work out on. You dont have to wait in a line nor waste time sitting around because there is a list. This place is very convenient being that there are many locations to choose from and if youre a member at one you are a member at all of them.
Culture clash on the sauna – There are many locations and the classes are standardized but reliable, i.e. cycling, strength exercises (body sculpt). But the clientele is very young and often cultures clash. There seems to always be an incident in the sauna between races. Is this typical of a gym in the South? One group wants to listen to music without earphones and wears all clothes (plus shoes) while the other wants quiet and is generally just in a towel. Great Value – You get what you expect at this LA Fitness. Good location, parking and equipment. It does get croweded around 5 or 6.
LA Fitness – DANGER!! ITS NOT SAFE! DO NOT TRUST THEM! My locker was broken into and they stole my wedding rings and LA Fittness will NOT take any responsability for there lack of security. They informed me and the Police that they did not have a servelance camera outside of the locker room doors to see who goes in or out.(Feel safe ladie?) Personal Training=JOKE – These trainers here are a joke!!! I went through the entire team and never found anyone who was worth it....the management (of trainers) is a joke, as well. You get what you pay for!!!
