Too expensive Mexican food The food here is no better than any other place, the biggest con is - its expensive and you have to wait quite a long time to pay for this expensive food. Drinks arent cheap either.

Sub-par / Just not good We recently ordered takeout. Got the Chicken Flautas which were TINY (i mean really really tiny- like a taquito) dry and flavorless, there were only 3 of them and they were $13. Seriously. We also got a Beef Burrito with "Grandma's Sauce". The beef was shredded because they don't even serve Carne Asada... what is mexican without asada? Despite that, the meat was at least moist but that was the ONLY thing inside the tortilla & the sauce tasted like it came from a poor cafeteria. Guacamole was fresh eve... read more

USED TO be a good place for Mexican food... My family and I had been long time patrons of this restaurant and it used to be our favorite. We had been frequenting this restaurant since the mid 90's so you know this review is not the result of merely one bad experience. Service is so unbelievably terrible. Water refills and chips/salsa refills are next to impossible to get during your meal. It's almost as if you are purposely being ignored. I've heard several changes in management could possibly be the result of the drastic ch... read more

Really good. And their chocolate cake and flan for dessert are to die for. We always get both, because they're both so good. Great margaritas, great food.

Over-Priced for Taste – Food : Tastes are fairly common, not exclusive. I thought the "Grandma's" dish I had was way over-priced for the sub-par taste-satisfaction it provided. Ambience : Decent. I have eaten in less pretentious surroundings. Service : Fairly prompt. I don't care much for smiling waiters, but then I don't want them barking at me either. I felt one of the senior ones was overtly brusque. The restaurant had me wondering if it really is worth going back again for the experience. Competition is tough for restaur... read more

Authentic south-of-the-border favorites are served at this restaurant that offers a selection of margaritas and affordable dishes. – In Short Families flock to the restaurant that serves grandma's home-style south of the border cooking featuring spicy platters served in large portions. Popular dishes include Grandma's Special, which consists of enchiladas and a special sauce combined with sour cream. Locals also flock for the fresh homemade chips that are thick and crispy, served with four salsas to choose from. Entrees typi... read more
