WHat it may lack in mozzarel, it more than makes up for in ambiance, charm, and local folk singers passionately performing open mics. I ended up in a surprisingly sincere conversation with the woman behind the counter, who is also a singer, about art, passion, survival, and never giving up on life. Terribly crowded. Terribly noisy. Longish line for service. We went down the street for our morning coffee.
