the food has changed...do not expect traditional Italian I heard that La Dolce Vita's owner has left, thus whomever is now cooking is not only not Italian but has no clue how traditional Italian food tastes. For example, do you put paprika in a bolognese sauce? Not an Italian sauce, that is for sure. I've only ever heard about La Dolce's food being good from people that have eaten meat dishes, but as for traditional Italian food - you will not find this here.
Fabulous food and atmosphere La Dolce Vita is on of the best Italian restaurants we have visited, anywhere! The food is as authentic as if you were in Italy, as are the authentic accents of several of the employees! They have many specials to tempt you further, so it never becomes dull or routine. What a great place!!! We just moved to the neighborhood and love La Dolce Vita. Our first visit was moving day and we were exhausted so we drove looking for the nearest restaurant. They were about to close but the waiter invited us in with great enthusiasm. Our food was very good and service excellent. We have since been back many times. We are very happy to have found this Italian restaurant.
If you're up for a classy evening of Italy When you walk through the doors, you are instantly wisked away to Italy. The food is absolutely incredible. The staff is fabulous. The live singers, amazing, you can request anything from rock, country, to opera, and all the entertainers that I have seen there, can do it all.
Signature Dishes - La Dolce Vita Restaurants When you live in a fairly small place like Castle Rock, it is easy to forget that size alone does not make up culture and sophistication. Because Douglas County is so new and affluent, people from all over America (and the world) have moved here. It is pretty amazing what you can find here in a restaurant. La Dolce Vita.... Bravo! – I have been going to La Dolce for 8 years. The food has not changed in quality nor has the staff. This shows you the quality of La Dolce Vita...... feels like a little restaurant in Italy when you walk in. The great staff as well as fair prices makes this restaurant the perfect choice for Italian dining. Coming from a NY Yankees fan and knowing the owners are from Boston .....the fact that I still recommend the place speaks volumes! You will not be disappointed
