I had the striped bass with adobo sauce and it was the best Mexican food I’ve had in a long time! That’s saying a lot because we have loved in Sedona AZ and Austin TX. The wait staff was so caring and attentive. The presentation was beautiful.
Cape May needs to stop keeping this place a secret!! I genuinely don’t understand how La Dona isn’t packed every night. It’s tucked just off the hustle and bustle of Washington Mall, and somehow there always seems to be a table available. Everything we ordered was SO good. Queso con chorizo, elote, table side guac, tuna ceviche, fajitas.. carne asada!! And PLEASE save room for dessert. Food was very good and the service was fantastic. Love sitting outside and the porch was very cute. Will definitely go back.
The food quality was amazing, very friendly staff. If you’re in Cape May you definitely have to stop by for dinner or lunch. Best Mexican food in town!
