About this business

Truly a haven for those who appreciate the finer things in life, La Diosa Cellars is the dream of Sylvana, the owner. Inspired by her father's love of Spanish cuisine, her own appreciation for art, and her father-in-law's appreciation for Texan wine. La Diosa Cellars is the only winery in the city limits of Lubbock and produces about 2000 cases a year. La Diosa also sells other Texan wines and is a great place to sample the flavors of the region. During lunch, delicious paninis such as Tropicano Julian made with walnut-crust... read more

I had a horrible experience at La Diosa about a week ago. Number one, the food was not good. Number two, the credit card machine went down while we were eating, and my waiter asked me and my friend to walk to The Library ATM, and take out cash to pay (which included a $6 ATM fee). The manager did not offer to comp any of our meal. Overall, I am unimpressed with the food and service quality of La Diosa, and I will never go back

I was there last night and they were having issues with the credit card reader. I understand that things happen but I was very disappointed with the way it was handled. My friend and I were asked to go next door to the library to get cash out. It was an inconvenience but oh well. However, we each had to pay over $5 in fees after a very expensive evening and the management didn't offer to do anything about that. I've always been pleased with the service but I won't be going back anytime soon!

Must say... Great music and love the vibe... But why is it ok to charge a guy a cover, and let him pay for a $40.00 bottle of wine... Then ask him to leave because he is wearing a baseball cap- after 1 1/2 hours? And NO Where is this posted?! Why is this ok?!! Very disappointed....

The atmosphere is comfortable and lively. My friend and I stopped in for a lazy late afternoon meal and were completely amazed with each sensational bite. The meatballs are worth coming back for again and again! Don't forget to order a side of bread to soak up the delicious juices in the bowl.

Had a very awful first impression of this place. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. The large party I was with ended up going somewhere else and none of us will be back
