I stayed there with my brother on a short trip a few years ago. It was a nice little place and the owner was very kind! I am looking forward to staying again sometime. The San Antonio right out the back door was very nice!
Dan and Heidi are absolutely awesome people we love staying here. Highly recommend La Cueva Lodge to all.
Fishing, great scenery, fresh mountain air, nice rooms, fantastic hosts. What is not to love?
I loved it. I enjoyed the serenity and the beauty of the entire area! Such a sacred place. I would love to go back again some day when I have the time.
La Cueva Lodge was a great place to stay. It's a "motel" but if you want all the comforts fo home then stay home. :-) La Cueva is centrally located between Fenton Lake, multiple fishing streams, the Seven Springs Hatchery, the Valles Caldera, Los Alamos, and.... It's awesome! Thank you to the owners of the La Cueva for being such great hosts!

First time for myself here at the La Cueva lodge! & I totally loves it! Rooms are beautiful as well as the owners are!!! Never had such a great time just for the shirt time I was there with my girls & family. I will be back soon! Very soon! I highly recommend this lodge!!!
