ROOM THEFT...I recently stayed at the La Cuesta Inn, 2074 Monterey St, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401. My husband and I were in room 206 from 10/4-10/6. I left my amazon kindle in the room. When I called to check on it yesterday I was told it was not turned in by the cleaning crew. That kindle never left the bedside of the room. I did report this theft to the SLO police dept and hope an officer will go and talk to the maid that was on duty and her sense of decency would return and it may be "found" all of a sudden.
