Charming little gem of a place with a great atmosphere and delicious food. Escargot, mussels, duck, and creme Brule were all incredible. Carmen was a delight and really gave the evening that special personal touch that so many restaurants lack. Will definitely be back.
This place stinks of sewage.!!!!.before I actually walked in I bumped into the cook in the front of the restaurant smoking a cigarette let's just say that hygiene was not at the top of his list the guy was on shaved and actually look like a homeless person which threw me off but I decided to give it a chance anyways but as soon as I walk in, the place look dark and dim and it smelled moldy and damped sewage smell.

Found with a coupon from a dolphin tour. We did not expect such a fine restaurant on a discount coupon. Great service and the food was excellent. As of this writing, it is still very memorable. We will return on future trips to Gulfport area.
It was so unique. The decor and comfortable surroundings made you feel like you were in France dining in a romantic café. The food was superbly prepared and delicious. The wait staff was courteous and attentive. I would highly recommend La Cote Basque to anyone interested in an extraordinary dining experience.
