Casual family meal We recently went to La Costa with the entertainment book coupon and it was great. The atmosphere was very friendly and the chips & dip helped to keep our one year old happy until her dinner arrived. I would recommend it as affordable Mexican-American fare for a reasonable price.
Pretty Good Food I've lived in California for many years and this is pretty good food. I have never had a problem with the food and think it's so much better than Azeteca. They have much more variety here and the food seems a lot more authentic. Good margaritas and good music too. PROS: Good Food CONS:

One of the best They are a grea example of good mexican food. I come here often. I love the wet burritos. My favorite part of coming is that they serve you with chips, 2 kinds of salsa and BEANS. No one else does that without charging.
Go to Azteca La Costa's has pretty good food, although it isn't the best Mexican food in the area. The service has been lacking the last several times we've gone in. We left deciding not to go back. Service was slow, things were not as requested, and no one seemed to really care. Prices are high, and with bad service that just doesn't make me want to return.
