This is supposed to be a LaColombe cafe right? Nizza is the flagship espresso right? Well I've been in three times recently and have been unable to purchase whole bean Nizza coffee. The excuses vary from "we're out" to "I don't even know how much to charge you" to "this is our last bag of Nizza beans and I can't sell any to you". One server asked "have you spoken with our manager?". Hmmm. That's not my job but someone at MI Cafe needs to do theirs better.
I went to the pop-up event for a breakfast burrito & horchata w espresso. Staff was nice enough I thought the burrito was disappointing. It wasn’t well wrapped. The flavors were ok, nothing spectacular. The highlight was the quac - that was very fresh and tasty. Another disappointment was the horchata: it was overly sweet and not very flavorful.
